Our labor is guaranteed for life
Parts are a different question, and the honest answer has more than one number in it. Here is every term we offer and the reason for it — so nothing on your invoice is a surprise later.
Our labor and workmanship
LifetimeIf it was installed right, it stays right. Any defect in our work, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Electrical panel, meter base and bus bar
LifetimeOn a full service change, we cover the equipment itself, not just the labor to fit it.
Standard circuit breakers
3 yearsA thermal-magnetic breaker is a simple, durable device. Three years is comfortably inside what we see fail.
AFCI, GFCI and dual-function breakers
1 yearThese have electronics inside and fail more often than a plain breaker. One year is what the manufacturers themselves stand behind, so it is what we will promise rather than something we cannot back.
Other devices, fixtures and materials we supply
1 yearCovered on the manufacturer’s terms, and we handle the claim for you.
Materials you supply
Not coveredWe will install it, but we cannot stand behind a part we did not choose or source.
What it does not cover
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect, by you or by anyone else
- Pre-existing electrical conditions that were not part of the original job
- Work modified after we finished, by you or by another contractor
- Equipment, fixtures or materials you supplied
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from lightning, flood, fire or a utility surge event
What ends it
- Unpermitted or unlicensed electrical work found anywhere on the system — we cannot stand behind a system somebody else has altered without permit or license
- Sale or transfer of the property — the warranty covers you, the original customer, for as long as you own the home, and does not pass to a new owner
The permit point is not a technicality. If someone works on your system without a permit or a license, we have no way to know what changed or whether it is safe — so we cannot keep standing behind it.
Something not right? Tell us.
Call (919) 670-4005 or email info@electricallpro.com. We schedule a return visit, usually the next business day. If it is our workmanship, the visit and the fix cost you nothing.
These terms summarize sections 5 and 7 of our Service Agreement, which is the document you sign and which governs if the two ever differ.
