What We Found

The electrical panel was corroded, with rust, a damaged metal frame and corrosion that had eaten completely through the side of the enclosure. An earlier repair had not solved the problem.

What We Did

  1. We assessed the condition of the corroded panel.
  2. We recommended replacing the panel rather than attempting another repair.
  3. We removed the corroded panel from the exterior wall of the home.
  4. We installed a new Siemens 200-amp panel in its place.

The Result

The corroded panel has been replaced with a new Siemens 200-amp panel that has a clean, orderly breaker layout. The homeowners can now sell the property knowing the panel is ready for a private home inspection.

The panel replacement was carried out under a city permit.
